Sun Yat–sen University, founded by Dr. Sun Yat-sen in 1924, is well known for its academic excellence and ranks among the top 10 Universities in China.
The School of Business, founded in 1985, is one of the leading business schools in mainland China. The school consists of six departments: Business Administration, Accounting, Tourism and Hotel Management, Marketing, Finance and Investment, and Management Science. The school’s programs excel at every academic level (from undergraduate to Ph.D.) with a total enrollment of about 3,000 students each year.
Faculty Openings are available and the school invites applicants for untenure-track positions at the rank of Associate or Assistant Professor. We seek applicants who will teach and conduct research in the following areas: Management, Accounting, Finance, Management Science , and Marketing.
- A successful candidate must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Applicants must complete all degree requirements for a doctorate by December 30, 2011 to be appointed at a rank of Assistant Professor. At the associate level, candidates should have a Ph.D. Degree and a record of successful research and publications.
- Applicants must have a demonstrated commitment and ability/potential to conduct high-quality scholarly research publishable in reputable international journals.
- Applicants must also demonstrate teaching excellence as indicated by teaching letters of recommendations or teaching assessments.
