SCHOLARSHIPS FOR MA & PHD ON FEMINISM, GENDER, AND SEXUALITY

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR RESEARCH MASTERS AND PHD STUDY ON TOPICS IN FEMINISM,
GENDER, AND SEXUALITY

Scholarships are available for candidates commencing Masters by
research and PhD study in the Women's Studies program at Monash
University in Melbourne in 2010.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Candidates must hold a first class honours in their Bachelors degree
(or equivalent e.g. Masters level qualification with a significant
research thesis component graded at first class honours) to be eligible
to apply for a scholarship. International candidates for whom English is a
second language must also submit a recent IELTS score where they cannot
demonstrate recent university level study conducted in English.

WHAT DO SCHOLARSHIPS COVER?

WHEN DO APPLICATIONS CLOSE?
Applications for the 2009 university scholarship round close on 30 OCTOBER 2009. Late applications will not be accepted.

WHEN ARE RESULTS ANNOUNCED?
Successful applicants will be notified in early December 2009 and
should normally commence their scholarships between 1 January 2010 and
31 March 2010 (in special circumstances, start dates up to 30 June 2010 can be negotiated).

Scholarship forms are available on-line. Candidates are strongly
advised to contact staff in the Centre to discuss their research
interests and academic record prior to submitting an
application.
