Are you not receiving WAGNet mailing list posts?

If you are not receiving WAGNet mailing list posts, then there are three likely causes:

1) Your account has become disabled
2) You have created a new account/changed your e-mail address, and it has failed to register.
3) Your account has been deleted.

Solutions:

1) Your account has become disabled: This can happen if, for instance, your in-box fills up and starts bouncing posts to the mailing list, or if you change e-mail addresses, fail to inform the server of your change of address, and your old address ages out, as the software is set to automatically disable any e-mail address which bounces e-mail repeatedly. This is the most common cause of failing to receive mailing list posts. If you are not receiving posts, your first port of call is to use the information in your welcome e-mail to access your account on the Warwick mailing lists system and check your account status, and if necessary reset it (lost your welcome e-mail? Contact fiona.moore at rhul.ac.uk to be sent a new one).

2) You have created a new account/changed your e-mail address, and it has failed to register: If you have recently created a new account or changed your details, you should have received a welcome e-mail if everything has worked out correctly. If you did not, you can either re-register, or contact the listserv manager, Fiona Moore, on fiona.moore at rhul.ac.uk.

3) Your account has been deleted: Sadly, spammers have now figured out how to register for lists as members and send spam through the list, meaning that we now periodically have to scan the list and delete any suspicious-looking addresses. If this happens, you should receive an e-mail informing you of the situation; if you have received such an e-mail and know this to be an error, or if you not received such an e-mail but still find that you can't log on to the mailing list system, contact Fiona on fiona.moore at rhul.ac.uk.
